Aloo Ki Sabji
Potato curry - Aloo ki Sabji
Ingredients
- 1 no Onion finely chopped, large
- 2 nos Potato large
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- 2 tbsp Tomato puree
- Salt As reqd
- Curry leaves A few
- Asafoetida A pinch, Kayam
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes, till they become tender and cut them into medium sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion and fry, till they turn golden brown.
- Add tomato puree, chilly powder, turmeric powder and saute for 1 min.
- Add potatoes and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add garam masala powder and mix well again.
