  • Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp
  • Onion(finely chopped) - 1 no
  • Green chillies(finely chopped) -
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) -
  • Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chat masala/amchoor powder - 1 tsp
  • Roasted goundnuts(slightly ground, Nelakadala) -
  • Refined oil for shallow frying -

Instructions
  1. Pressure cook the potatoes unto four whistles. After cooling, crush the potatoes gently.
  2. Add bread crumbs, green chillies, onions, coriander leaves, chilly powder, turmeric powder, roasted groundnuts, salt and chat masala.
  3. Mix them together, till they get blended well.
  4. Make small balls of the above mixture and flatten them a bit.
  5. Heat a little oil in a pan.
  6. Put the above tikkis into the oil and shallow fry, till they become golden brown and crispy.
  7. :- Serve with coriander chutney.
  8. For preparing corriander chutney: Take a handful of fresh coriander leaves, one medium sized onion, 4-5 garlic cloves, one green chilly, half spoon roasted jeera, amchoor powder and salt to taste. Add the desired amount of water to the above ingredients and grind them into a fine paste .
