  • slice the onion and chop the aloo into cubes
  • heat the oil in the kadai, and temper the mustard, broken urad dal, cumin seed and curry leaves
  • add onion and saute it until it turn into brown
  • add aloo, black pepper, salt and turmeric powder and mix well
  • allow to cook until the aloo gets cooked
  • keep the flame in low for 5 minutes to get the slight crispy
  • now aloo pepper fry is ready to serve
