Aloo SoyaTikki - Healthy Snack

A tasty snack without onion and garlic

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup potato steamed,peeled and mashed
  • ½ cup soya granules, soaked and squeezed
  • ½ cup paneer grated
  • ¼ cup finely chopped ginger and green chilli
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp amchur powder [dried mango powder]
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Enough oil for deep fry

Instructions
 

  • Roughly grind the squeezed soya chunk.
  • Mix all the ingredients one by one except oil in a large bowl without any lumps. Do not add water at all.
  • If you feel sticky you can add some cornflour. Oil your fingers and make small marble sized balls out of the mixture.
  • Lightly roll the balls in bread crumbs or corn flour. Deep fry the balls, few at a time till golden brown.
  • Serve with favorite sauce.
