Ingredients
  • Fish(preferably Karimeen. Any fish is possible but Karimeen is the best for this recipe) - 500 gm
  • Tomato(sliced in round pieces) - 100 gm
  • Onions(sliced in round pieces, medium) - 2 nos
  • Fish masala(preferably Melam) - 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves(A few) -
  • Coriander leaves(cut into very small pieces) -
  • Lime(sliced into round pieces) - 1 no
  • Oil(preferably Sunflower oil) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Marinate fish with fish masala and salt for 20 - 30 mins.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add onions and saute, till they turn light brown.
  4. Place the fish over the onions.
  5. Cover the pan and cook for 6 - 9 mins.
  6. Turn the fish to cook the other side.
  7. :- Do not disturb the onions too much. At the same time, make sure that the onions are not getting burnt.
  8. Place the tomato over the fish.
  9. Cover and cook it for 10 - 15 mins.
  10. Garnish with lime and coriander leaves.
