Andhra Pappu Paruppu(Dhal) in Andhra style 200 gm Dhal (Parippu)3 nos Tomato1 no Onion4 nos Garlic podsCurry leaves (A few)4 nos Red chillies3 - Coriander leavesOilSalt (As reqd) Take dhal and pressure cook it for 10 mins(3 whistles).Heat some oil in a pan or a kadai.Fry the finely chopped onions, till it turns brown.Add the finely chopped tomatoes to it and cook on a low flame, until the tomatoes become a paste.Add garlic to it.Add the cooked dhal into this paste and pour 2 cups of water.Keep this mixture on low flame until it boils.Garnish with coriander leaves.Allow the curry to set for 10 mins.:- Serve with rice.
