Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 glass White rice pachari
  • 1 1/2 glass Rice flakes aval/poha
  • Water for grinding
  • Yeast a pinch
  • Salt As reqd
  • Sugar As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Appam With Rice Flakes/Aval, first soak rice for 5 hrs before grinding.
  • Soak aval for 15 minutes before grinding.
  • Grind separately with needed water.
  • Add salt and yeast(dissolved in luke warm water). Mix the batter very well.
  • Keep the batter for 8 hours over night.
  • Next day morning you can add sugar for taste. Mix well.
  • Make very soft and yummy Appam With Rice Flakes/Aval in a appam chatti.
