Apple Cinnamon Cake Sponge cake topped with apple, raisins and cinnamon 125 gm Allpurpose flour (Maida)125 gm White butter125 gm Sugar3 nos Eggs1 tsp Vanilla essence1 tsp Baking powderFor toppings:1 no Apple (piled cored and sliced)Cinnamon(Karugapatta) powderWalnutsRaisins(Onakka munthiri) Seive maida with baking powder. Beat white butter with sugar, till light and creamy.Add a egg and beat it.Add another egg and beat well again.Add vanilla essence followed by the third egg and beat it well too.Divide the seived maida into 3 portions.Add the first portion into the egg mixture and mix well.:- You can mix in the shape of 8.Add the second portion and mix again.Add the third portion and beat it at a high speed for 10 seconds.Tranfer it to a greased baking tin.Keep the sliced apple on top and sprinkle a little cinnamon powder, chopped walnuts and raisins.Bake it at 150 degree for 30 - 40 mins or until done.
