  • All purpose flour(Maida) - 300 gm
  • Cinnamon(ground) - 1 tbsp
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 115 gm
  • Egg - 4 nos
  • Golden Apples(cored and cut into 1/2-inch pieces) - 3 nos
  • Walnuts(chopped) - 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
  2. Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Beat eggs and sugar until very thick. The beaters should make a ribbon trail when lifted.
  4. Fold in the flour mixture one- third at a time.
  5. Gently pour the melted butter into the cake mixture through the side of the bowl.
  6. Add apples and nuts to the batter. Mix to combine. Add vanilla, mixing well until incorporated.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan, and bake 40 minutes until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven, and cool slightly on a wire rack.
  9. Dust with icing sugar.
