Rice flakes
Aval

Raw rice
Pachari
1/2
cup
Curd
1
tsp
Fenugreek seeds
Uluva/Methi
Oil
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Wash rice and rice flakes and soak in
water
along with
fenugreek seeds
and curd for about 5 hrs.
Grind all the ingredients finely and make it into a batter as that of dosa or slightly thicker.
Allow it to ferment for about 7 - 8 hrs.
Heat griddle and grease it with
oil
.
Pour the batter and spread it slightly to make thick appams.
Cover it and cook till done.
:- Do not flip the sides.
:- Serve hot with
onion
chutney.
