  • Take a pan, add ghee and roast the sliced banana until golden brown in color. Then roast cashews and raisins till they turn golden brown in color.
  • Keep the roasted cashews, raisins and banana aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a saucepan and saute the rice flakes till crisp. It takes around 5- 10 minutes in low flame.
  • Heat a pan and add the grated coconut and jaggery along with 1/4 cup water and cook for 7-8 minutes in medium flame.
  • When the water evaporates from the coconut and it turns well cooked, add roasted aval, banana, cashew and raisins.
  • Give it a nice mix and turn off the flame.
  • Yummy Sweet Aval Ethapazham Varattiyathu is ready to serve.
