  • Beaten Rice/Rice flakes(Aval) - 2 cups
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp
  • Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee - 2 tsp
  • Cardamom (powdered)(Elakka) - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Heat a tava and dry fry aval, till it is crisp.
  2. Add coconut and fry till it becomes light brown and crisp.
  3. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Pour ghee and keep stirring till it melts and spreads on the aval.
  5. Add cardamom and remove from fire.
  6. Allow it to cool.
  7. :- Store in an airtight container.
