Instructions
  1. Heat ghee in a pan or uruli and fry the cashew and raisins until light brown in colour.
  2. Add aval/beaten rice in the remaining ghee.
  3. Roast the aval until crisp
  4. Once the aval begins to smell good,pour milk and cook on a medium heat.
  5. Add sugar,cardamom powder when the payasam stars thickens.
  6. Stir and cook on a medium heat until the payasam turns thick.Add cashew nuts, raisins and remove from the flame.
  7. Serve aval payasam warm or cold.
