Aval Vada Beaten rice(Poha/Aval) vada 1 cup Beaten rice (Poha/Aval)1 no Onion (chopped finely)3 tbsp Grated coconut3 nos Green chillies (chopped)Asafoetida (A pinch, Kayam)1 tsp Curry leaves1 tsp Coriander leaves (chopped)Salt (As reqd)Oil for frying Soak aval for 10 mins.Drain excess water.Add all the ingredients into the bowl containing aval.Mix well.:- Do not add water, while making the dough.Make small vadas with hand.Heat oil in a pan.Fry vadas, till golden brown and crisp.:- Serve hot with chutney.
