Ingredients
  • Beaten rice(Poha/Aval) – 1cup
  • Onion(chopped finely) – 1no
  • Grated Coconut 3tbsp
  • Green chillies(chopped) – 3nos
  • Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) –
  • Curry leaves 1tsp
  • Coriander leaves(chopped) – 1tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Oil for frying –
Instructions
  1. Soak aval for 10 mins.
  2. Drain excess water.
  3. Add all the ingredients into the bowl containing aval.
  4. Mix well.
  5. :- Do not add water, while making the dough.
  6. Make small vadas with hand.
  7. Heat oil in a pan.
  8. Fry vadas, till golden brown and crisp.
  9. :- Serve hot with chutney.
