  • milk 1/2 Glass -
  • besan flour 1/4 cup -
  • Sugar : 1/2 cup -
  • Ghee: 3 tbsp -
  • Oil: 1 tbsp -
  • Cardamom powder :1 tsp -
  • colour powder or saffron 1 pinch -
  • cashews 1 tbsp -

Instructions
  1. Soak the almond in hot water for 15 mins
  2. remove the skin
  3. grind it to the smooth paste by adding milk
  4. In a kadai add almond paste and sugar and stir it
  5. add ghee, oil and cardamom powder and stir it
  6. add colour powder and mix it
  7. add besan flour and stir it continuously for 15 mins in low flame
  8. stir until it becomes halwa consistency and non sticky
  9. in a pan heat the ghee and fry the cashews and transfer into the halwa
  10. now badam halwa is ready to serve
