Baked Cauliflower With Parmesan Cheese
Baked recipe of cauliflower with parmesan cheese treated as a diabetic delight.

Cauliflower
small

Extra virgin olive
oil

Parmesan cheese
grated

Breadcrumbs
oat or whole
wheat
bread, dried
Black pepper
As reqd, freshly ground
1
clove
Garlic
crushed
2
tbsp
Parsley
chopped, Seema malli
Instructions
Break the cauliflower into florets. Steam the florets until tender.
After proper draining, place these florets in a lightly oiled baking dish.
Heat the olive
oil
in a saucepan and add breadcrumbs and crushed
garlic
.
Cook in medium heat, stirring uniformly for around 3-4 minutes until the breadcrumbs are golden in color.
Remove the pan from heat and add Parmesan cheese and freshly ground pepper.
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the steamed cauliflower.
Cook in a preheated oven for around 5 minutes until the top portion turns golden.
Your baked cauliflower with parmesan cheese is ready and decorate the top with chopped
parsley
leaves.
Tips:- 1)Instead of cauliflower, you can use broccoli.
Vegetables like cauliflower and broccoli are beneficial for intestinal health.
Extra virgin olive
oil
is of the highest quality and hence expensive. It has minimum organoleptic rating and low acidity levels.
