Banana
flower is ground with other ingredients and deep fried in

Bengal gram
dal
Kadala parippu

Rice flour

tsp
Cumin seeds

Green chillies
10
leaves
Curry leaves
2
tsp
Coriander leaves
chopped small
Salt
As reqd
Oil
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing
banana
flower vada, soak
bengal gram
dal in
water
for half an hour.
Drain and grind with
green chillies
,
cumin seeds
and half of cleaned
banana
flower. 3)Mix this mixture with finely chopped coriander,
curry leaves
and remaining
banana
flower.
Add
salt
and rice flour and mix them well. Make the vada in the shape of small balls.
Deep fry in
oil
until it becomes golden brown in color.
Banana
flower vada is ready. Serve with
tomato
sauce or green chutney.
Tip: Serve it hot. Its aroma is so tempting.
