Instructions
  1. Cut the plantain into small cubes and grate the coconut.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and saute until the bananas are turned into golden brown in colour.
  3. Add sugar,grated coconut and mix it well,cook it again for 3 minutes.
  4. Add salt and required water to the four and mixing for about 5 minute or till the flour dries to a slightly lumpsy consistency.
  5. Now layer this with grated coconut-banana mixture in a puttu kutti starting and ending with the layer of the mixture in addition to another layer in the middle.Steam for 4-5 minutes till the rice flour is nice and cooked well.
  6. Banana puttu-Pazham puttu is ready to serve,have it with a glass of hot tea.
