Banana Puttu - Simple Dish Typical Tamil dish - Banana(Vazhakka) porial or upperi 2 nos Banana (peeled and chopped, Vazhakka)1 no Onion2 nos Green chillies1 no Red chillies (Kollamulaku)3 tbsp Grated coconut1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)Curry leaves (As reqd)1 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Fenugreek (Uluva)1 tbsp Oil Cut banana, onion, chillies and curry leaves into very small pieces.Mix all the ingredients in a bowl or a plate except red chilly.Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan.Add fenugeek and red chilly.When red chilly turns brown, add the above mixture and close with a lid.Cook, till done.:- Serve as a side dish for rice.
