Instructions
  1. Wash and cook moong. :- The moong should be cooked well, but not get mashed.
  2. Drain it and keep it aside.
  3. Chop banana skin and wash it in water mixed with turmeric powder.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  5. Add curry leaves, red chilli, chopped banana skin along with little turmeric powder and salt.
  6. Sprinkle little water over it and cover it with a lid and cook till its done.
  7. Grind coconut along with green chillies, garlic, cumin and turmeric powder without adding water. :- The masala should be of dry consistency.
  8. When the banana skin is cooked, add coconut masala and cooked moong.
  9. Mix it well and cover it and cook it in a low flame for about 10 minutes.
  10. :- Remove from fire and serve hot with rice.
  11. :- The dish should be dry.
