Banana Walnut Cake

Soft and tasty walnut cake made with lots of butter

Ingredients
  

  • Butter : 125 gm
  • Sugar : ¾ cup
  • Walnuts : ½ cup
  • Self raising flour : 1 ¾ cup
  • Egg beaten : 2 nos
  • Large bananas : 3 nos
  • Bicarbonate of soda : 1 tsp
  • 3 tsp Milk : 2
  • Boiling water : 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter, sugar and water together.

  • Gradually add eggs, then the mashed bananas.

  • Dissolve bicarbonate of soda in milk and add flour alternately with milk to banana mixture.

  • Add chopped walnuts.
  • Enter Step
  • Bake at 175° C for 50 - 55 minutes or till the knife / toothpick comes put clean.
  • Enter Step
  • Note : After 20 minutes you can place an aluminum foil on top of the cake to prevent the top from burning.
