Instructions
  1. For preparing barley soup, puree the tomatoes and strain it.
  2. Add in tomato puree, blended tomato puree, oregano, basil, stock cubes, barley, salt and water.
  3. Cook it covered for 10 minutes on high flame.
  4. Remove the lid and continue cooking the soup for 30 minutes on high flame stirring occasionally.
  5. Add pepper powder and mix well.
  6. Barley soup is ready. Serve hot.
