Mustard seeds
Bread crumbs

According to need
Salt
As reqd
Oil
for frying
Spices:-
4
tbsp
Chilli powder
1/4
tsp
Turmeric powder
1
tbsp
Coriander powder
2 1/2
tsp
Garam masala
powder
1
tsp
Pepper
Instructions
Marinate the cut, cleaned
beef
with the spices mentioned for 1 hour.
:- The
beef
needs to be cooked in the pressure cooker until tender. It`s better that some gravy is left behind, so that the
beef
can be ground better and easily.
Heat little
oil
in a pan.
Splutter
mustard seeds
.
Add diced onions and saute until light brown.
Add the chopped
ginger
,
garlic
and chillies, until they are sauteed well.
Put the
beef
in the processor, and grind the cooked
beef
to make it simpler to shape cutlets.
In that mixture, add the sauteed onions and
green chillies
and mix well.
Finally, add the mashed potatoes and mix well, until the mixture gets mixed well.
Add
salt
if needed.
Shape the mixture into patties. Set aside.
Dip them in beaten
egg
mixture and then roll them into
bread crumbs
.
Deep fry the patties in
oil
.
:- Serve hot with
tomato
ketchup and french fries.
