Beef Masala – Easy Cooking

When it comes to simple and quick meals, Beef Masala dish comes to mind. Beef pieces coated in thick fragrant spicy gravy is one of the delicious dishes that will definitely make you crave for more. The comforting dish goes well with porotta, chappathy and rice based dishes as well. Beef pieces are cooked with pepper and other ingredients in a pressure cooker. Cooked beef is slow roasted in sufficient oil with ginger, garlic, onion, masala powders and other ingredients. Keep roasting in medium flame until water dries up and the beef is browned with thick spicy gravy. Beef Masala is a shortcut to easy cooking when time falls short. Enjoy the dish.

Instructions
  1. Cook the beef in a pressure cooker with salt, turmeric and little pepper powder and keep it aside.
  2. In a cooking pan, pour the oil and add ginger, garlic and the curry leaves.
  3. Add chopped onion and fry till it gets deep golden colour.
  4. Add the masala powders one by one and fry for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Add the tomato and fry it well. Add the cooked beef to the mixture and mix it well. Add 1 glass of water and boil it for 10-15 minutes until the water dries up. Your beef masala is ready.
