  • Clean, wash and drain the beef pieces. Keep this aside.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the spices: red chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala and pepper powder.
  • Keep stirring and cook in low flame until the color changes into nice brown. Take care and do not burn the spices.
  • Then add sliced onion and crushed ginger garlic.
  • Mix well and add the diced potatoes.
  • Add tomato paste.
  • Add sliced green chilly.
  • Add turmeric powder and salt as required.
  • Add the beef pieces and stir.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix well and pour 3/4 cup water. Pressure cook for 5-6 whistles or until fully cooked.
  • After releasing the pressure, open the lid and combine well.
  • Serve Beef Pot Roast along with Puttu, Chappathi etc.
