  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 spoon

Instructions
  1. Peel the ridge gourd (beerakayalu) and cut into small pieces.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil oil in a pan and add the ribbed gourd pieces.
  3. Cover and cook till soft.
  4. Grind ginger piece or grate.
  5. Add salt, red chilly powder, ginger & sugar.
  6. Add 1 tbsp oil so the whole curry looks glossy and does not stick to the sides of the pan.
  7. :- Beerakaya (Ridge Gourd) Allam Kaaram Kura is ready!!
  8. :- As simple as it is. Adjust the ingredients to your taste. Goes very well with hot rice.
