Ridge gourd

Ginger

Red chilly powder

spoon
Sugar

jaggery

Oil
Salt
to taste
Instructions
Peel the ridge gourd (beerakayalu) and cut into small pieces.
Heat 1 tbsp
oil
oil
in a pan and add the ribbed gourd pieces.
Cover and cook till soft.
Grind
ginger
piece or grate.
Add
salt
, red chilly powder,
ginger
& sugar.
Add 1 tbsp
oil
so the whole curry looks glossy and does not stick to the sides of the pan.

:- As simple as it is. Adjust the ingredients to your taste. Goes very well with hot rice.
