cut into cubes, small
Ginger
garlic
paste - 2 tsp

Oil
Turmeric powder
A pinch

tbsp
Chilly powder
Salt
As reqd

Cinnamon
Karugapatta

Cloves
Grambu

Cardamom
Elakka
Fresh
coconut
powder
A handful

Garam masala
powder
Instructions
Grind
beetroot
and
onion
separately in a mixer grinder.
:- Do not grind them into a paste.
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Add
cloves
,
cardamom
and cinnamon stick.
Add the coarsely ground
beetroot
and
onion
.
Add
salt
,
turmeric powder
, chilly powder and
ginger
-
garlic
paste.
Fry it on a medium flame for about 15 mins.
Add
coconut
powder and fry, until the raw smell is gone.
Add
garam masala
powder and stir well.
Remove from the flame.
