Beetroot Paniyaram

This is a healthy and simple recipe. We usually do paniyaram in sweet and spicy, but beetroot paniyaram is different.

  • Onion(Chopped) - 1 big
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1 tsp
  • Channa dal - 1 tsp
  • Salt(As per Taste) -
  • Oil(For Greasing) -
  • Idly batter - 1 bowl

Instructions
  1. In a pan add oil and temper mustard, urad dal, channadal
  2. Now add chopped onion then saute well
  3. Now add grated beetroot and little salt then saute well.
  4. Now transfer to idly batter then mix well
  5. In paniyaaram pan add little oil in all areas then pour the mixed batter.
  6. Cook both sides and take out from the pan.
  7. Now serve Beetroot paniyaaram with coconut and red chilly chutney.
