  • Pressure cook washed and peeled beetroot until it's done.
  • Allow it to cool and grind it to paste.
  • Fry the cashews in ghee.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed kadai and pour half the quantity of milk.
  • Add beetroot paste and mix well.
  • Add sugar and mix well.
  • Add the remaining milk and boil for few minutes.
  • Add cardamom powder and fried cashews and mix well.
  • Boil for few minutes and remove from fire.
  • :-Serve hot or cold.
