Bendekayi Sasime Lady`s finger raita 8-10 nos Lady`s finger (Vendakka)1 cup Yoghurt/Curd1/2 cup Freshly grated coconut1/2 tsp Turmeric powderSalt (As reqd)For seasoning: 2 tsp Oil1 tsp Mustard seeds1 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)2 nos Red chillies Cut okra or lady`s finger into small pieces. Heat oil in a pan.Add all the ingredients for the seasoning.Add cut okra and fry for few minutes. Do not cover the vessel.Lower the flame and fry till it is cooked. :- You can add little amchoor powder or yoghurt to remove the stickiness. Turn off the heat and let it cool. Grind grated coconut and turmeric powder by adding desired water. Mix yoghurt, ground coconut and fried okra along with salt. :- Serve with plain white rice or pulao. Goa
