Bengali Fish Curry

Bengali fish curry is a popular bengali dish , fish cooked in mustard or gingelly oil with ginger garlic in combination of tomato ketchup and sugar. this gravy is little sweet and little tangy that goes well with rotis and pulkas. There are many ways of preparing this bengali fish curry and here is a simple way to make this fantastic curry.

Instructions
  1. first marinate fish with salt and turmeric for 15 minutes.
  2. then deep fry it oil and keep it aside.
  3. now separately make a mixture of ginger garlic paste,salt ,turmeric,cumin powder,green chilli paste, red chilli,sugar and tomato ketup
  4. heat pan fry onions, raisins,cinnamon
  5. add cashew paste
  6. add the mixture of ketchup
  7. cook till oil oozes out
  8. add little water and simmer it
  9. now add fried fishes simmer few more minutes and serve.
