Bengali Mix Vegetable

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin cubed
  • 1/2 cup Potato cubed
  • 1/4 cup Beans cut in one inch long
  • 1/4 cup Geen peas
  • 1/4 cup Cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup Carrot chopped
  • 2 nos Green chilies slit
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Paanch fodan Mixture of spices like Fenugreek uluva, Nigella seeds karim jeerakam, Cumin seeds jeerakam, Radhuni ayamodakam, Fennel seeds perum jeerakam
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing bengali mix vegetable, melt ghee in a pan and add the vegetables. Fry for a minut.
  • Add salt, green chillies and turmeric powder. Mix well.
  • Add paanch fodan and 2 cups of water. Cook covered till all the vegetables are done.
  • Mash the potatoes lightly and sprinkle garam masala. Mix well. For preparing bengali mix vegetable, melt ghee in a pan and add the vegetables. Fry for a minute.
