Biriyani With Bacon Offcuts Simple and economic recipe 250 gm Bacon1 no Onion2 nos Garlic pods1 small Ginger2 cups Basmati rice3 1/2 cups Water1/2 tbsp Chilly powder2 tbsp Garam masalaSalt (As reqd)Oil (As reqd)Coriander leaves (As reqd) Fry bacon pieces in oil.When half done, add thinly sliced onion, chopped ginger and garlic.When the onion turn golden brown, add washed rice and fry for at least 5 minutes.Add chilly powder, garam masala, water and salt as required.Allow it to boil.When water starts simmering, turn done the heat to low level so as to allow the rice to cook completely.:- It should be done in 15 minutes.Sprinkle coriander leaves and enjoy with curd/pickle.:- You can replace bacon with beef or chicken fillet and if u`ve got a few quids to spend add cashews and raisins too.
