Pavakka/Paval

Grated
Coconut

Green chillies

cup
Yoghurt/Curd
Thayiru
3/4
cup
Buttermilk
Moru
Salt
As reqd
For seasoning:
2
tsp
Coconut Oil
2
nos
Red chillies
Kollamulaku
1
tsp
Black gram
Uzhunnuparippu
1/2
tsp
Mustard seeds
Instructions
Grate bittergourd.
Add 1 tbsp of
salt
and keep it for 45 minutes. When it becomes watery, squeeze by hand and remove all
water
.
Grind grated
coconut
and
green chillies
along with
water
.
Mix yoghurt and buttermilk nicely.
Add
salt
and set it aside.
Heat
oil
in a pan.
Add the ingredients for seasoning one by one.
Add squeezed bittergourd and fry in a low flame for 5-10 minutes.
Allow it to cool.
Add it to the prepared buttermilk.
