Bitter Gourd Raitha Yoghurt/Curd with crispy Bitter gourd(Pavakka) 1 small Bitter gourd (Pavakka)1 no Garlic pod (cut into very long strips)1 tbsp Oil1/2 tbsp Chilly powderYoghurt/Curd (As reqd)Salt (As reqd)Garam masala (A pinch) Cut bittergourd into round slices. Halve the slices and remove the inner skin of gourd, leaving on only the green outer skin. Marinate bitter gourd with chilly powder. Heat oil in a pan.Fry the bitter gourd and garlic, till it turns dark brown and crispy.Beat yoghurt, till smooth.Add the bitter gourd pieces and mix well. Add salt to taste.Garnish with garam masala powder, just before serving.:- Serve slightly chilled. Kerala
