Ginger
ground

Green chillies

Coconut
ground
1
tsp
Mustard seeds
1
tbsp
Oil
Turmeric powder
A pinch
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Grate
bitter gourd
into very small pieces.
Cut
onion
, chillies and
ginger
into very small pieces using a grater.
Mix together
bitter gourd
, grated
coconut
,
ginger
,
turmeric
,
onion
and
green chillies
.
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Add
mustard seeds
and allow them to crackle.
Add the
bitter gourd
mixture into the frying pan.
Add
salt
and stir well.
Keep the pan covered and cook on a low flame for 7 minutes. Stir well.
:- Serve hot with plain rice.
