Bitter Gourd Thoran
Bitter Gourd(Kayppakka) Thoran
Ingredients
- 2 nos Bitter gourd Pavakka/Kayppakka
- 1 no Onion
- 1 tsp Ginger ground
- 3 nos Green chillies
- 1 cup Coconut ground
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Turmeric powder A pinch
- Salt As reqd
Instructions
- Grate bitter gourd into very small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add mustard seeds and allow them to crackle.
- Add the bitter gourd mixture into the frying pan.
- Add salt and stir well.
- Keep the pan covered and cook on a low flame for 7 minutes. Stir well.
- :- Serve hot with plain rice.
