Bombay Mixture, also known as Bombay Mix, is a popular Indian savory snack that has won hearts across the globe.

Ingredients
  

Instructions
 

  • Combine besan with rice flour and salt.
  • Add 1 tbsp oil and little by little water to make a dough.
  • Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
  • Grease the inside of an idiyappam maker with oil and fill with dough.
  • Heat oil over medium heat. Press the idiyappam maker in circular motion making sure the dough do not overlap.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook for 1 minute.
  • Next, fry the soaked and drained green gram. Fry for 3-4 minutes till the lentil shrinks and turn brown. Remove to a paper towel.
  • Fry the curry leaves also.
  • Break the fried sev gently with your hands and add black salt, fried green gram and curry leaves. Mix well.
  • Enjoy with tea or coffee.
