Bori Samosa With Potato Filling

Ingredients
  

  • Potatoes (boiled and mashed) : ½ k gm
  • Large onion finely chopped : 1 no
  • Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
  • 2 tsp Dry mango powder : 1
  • Salt : as reqd
  • Freshly chopped coriander leaves : few
  • For Samosa patti :
  • Maida / flour : 1 tsp
  • Water : 1tsp
  • Oil : for frying

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion till translucent.
  • Add the mashed potato, red chilli powder, dry mango powder chopped coriander leaves and salt and mix well together.
  • Keep aside to cool.
  • Mix the maida with water in a small bowl to make a smooth paste.
  • Make a cone of each samosa patti.
  • Fill with potato mixture and fold to cover the filling completely.
  • Seal the open edge with the flour / maida paste.

  • Gently slide the samosa into hot oil and deep fry on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain on a kitchen towel.

  • Serve with tomato sauce / green chutney.
