Ingredients

For the koftas:
3

Bread slices

Potato
Salt
As reqd

Green chillies
1
tsp
Chilly powder
For grinding:
2
tbsp
Onion
3
nos
Garlic
pods
Ginger
A small piece
1
tsp
Garam masala
powder
Instructions
For making the koftas: 1)Pressure cook
potato
, peel and mash nicely.
Soak bread in little
water
and squeeze out
water
from the slices.
Mix together mashed potatoes and bread by adding
salt
,
green chillies
and chilly powder.
Heat
oil
in a pan.
Make small balls from the prepared bread and mashed
potato
dough, flatten a little bit and fry till golden brown.
For making the gravy: 1)Heat
oil
in a pan.
Add chopped onions and fry till translucent.
Add ground masala and fry till
oil
separates.
Add yoghurt and fry for a while.
Add chilly powder and
turmeric powder
and fry for another minute.
Add tomatoes.
After a while, add about one cup of
water
and boil till the gravy becomes thick.
Add prepared koftas just before serving.
Garnish with finely cut coriander leaves.
