Bread Pock is a simple to prepare snack item. This is a fulfilled evening time snack for the school kids. The smashed potato is mixed and cooked with onions and spices. The it is used as a stuffing for the bread slices and fried in oil.
When colour of this mix turns into golden/brown, add the boiled and smashed Potato and Coriander leaves and stir it further. Masala for the Samosas is ready.
Make a paste of Maida maavu adding 2-3 tspns. of water and keep this paste aside.
Cut and remove the four sides (brown portion) of the breads
Then flatten the Bread(s) by using a Rolling-pin or something like that.
Take the flattened bread in hand, give it a shape of cone by folding it from both sides and close them with the Maida maavu paste. Fill the bread slice with already prepared Masala and pres all sides of the bread slice with thumb (without giving much pressure) and keep them aside
Heat Oil in a frying pan/Cheenachatti and add the Masala filled Bread Slices into this hot Oil and fry them properly
When the bread slices are fried properly, take them out and keep in a serving plate. Bread Samosas ready. These Samosas can serve with Tomato sauce/Onion Chutney etc
