  • White bread slices - 6 nos
  • Eggs - 2 nos
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Butter - 4 tbsp
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Raisins(Onakkamunthiri/Kismis) - ¼ cup
  • Cashewnuts - 6 nos
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder(Karugapatta) - ½ tsp
  • Nutmeg powder(Jathikka) - ½ tsp

Instructions
  1. Trim off the hardcrust from the sides of bread slices and apply butter only on one side.
  2. Take a baking tray and arrange the slices with buttered sides up.
  3. Heat milk.
  4. Add sugar and stir till the sugar get dissolves. Remove from stove.
  5. Break eggs and beat nicely. Add this to milk and mix.
  6. Add vanilla essence, cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder.
  7. Sprinkle kismis and cashewnuts chopped over the bread pieces.
  8. Pour milk mixture over the bread using a strainer.
  9. Preheat the oven for 10 mins at 180ªC.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 mins or till the top is browned.
  11. :- Serve hot.
