Bread sticks with chicken filling is a good party snack. To make bread sticks spiced chicken filling is stuffed inside the bread, rolled and tawa fried.
Boneless chicken breast pieces are marinated with 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp chilly powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and salt to taste. The chicken pieces are kept aside for 15 minutes and fried. The fried chicken pieces are later shredded. Next, heat oil in a vessel and saute onion, ginger, garlic and green chilly for 5 minutes. Add red chilly powder as required, garam masala, coriander leaves and salt. Saute again for 2 minutes. stir in the shredded chicken, mix well and remove from the flame.
Next, steam cook the bread slices for 5 minutes.
Roll each of the slices with a rolling pin.
Add little prepared chicken filling at one end of the bread slice and slowly roll it.
Dip each rolled bread sticks in beaten egg mixture.
Heat ghee in a nonstick pan and toast the bread slices turning the sides till golden brown.
Bread sticks with chicken filling is ready to serve.
