Instructions
  1. For preparing the delicious dish, first marinate brinjals in salt and fry it in 2 tsp oil. Keep it aside.
  2. In the same pan add more oil if required and saute cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  3. Make a fine paste of onion, tomatoes and Garlic. Add the above paste into the pan and saute well.
  4. Add all dry masala powders, mix and cook it for 10 mins.
  5. Add the fried brinjals and Salt to taste. Cook in low flame for 10 mins
  6. Add tamarind pulp and coconut paste. Cook it for another 5 to 8 mins in low flame.
  7. Serve with Biriyani, Fried rice or White rice
