Instructions
  1. Slice the brinjals length wise and rub over with turmeric and salt.
  2. Grind together red chillies, mustard seeds and cinnamon stick.
  3. Soak tamarind in water.
  4. Heat oil. Fry brinjals .
  5. Boil together fried brinjals, ground spices, vinegar, turmeric, curry leaves, cumin and coriander powder. Add tamarind water also.
  6. To this add coconut milk.
  7. Simmer till brinjals are well cooked. Add sugar just before removing from fire.
  8. Brinjal Pahie ready.
