Broken wheat
is cooked with onions,
ginger
,
carrot
cubes and other ingredients

Onion

Ginger
grated

Green peas
1/4

Carrot
chopped

Mustard seeds
Oil
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
For garnishing:

Coriander leaves
chopped
Instructions
Clean and wash the
broken wheat
thoroughly. Drain and keep aside.
Heat
oil
in a pressure cooker. Splutter
mustard seeds
.
When they crackle, add the onions, green chilly and
ginger
. SautT till the onions turn translucent.
Add the
green peas
, carrots,
broken wheat
and
salt
. SautT for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add 1 1/2 cup of
water
and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
Garnish with the coriander and serve hot.
