For marinade:
  • Yogurt – 4 tbsp (plain, thick, use fat(free yogurt if you would like to reduce the fat content of this dish), plain, thick, use fat) -
  • Garam masala - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Tandoori masala - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Lime juice - 1 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
  • Orange color(optional) - 1 pinch

Instructions
  1. Choose your favourite flavours and soak up chicken in that, refrigerate for 3 hours for better extraction of flavour.
  2. Heat oil and butter on a medium heat.
  3. Fry onion until golden colour.
  4. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry till oil separates.
  5. Add chicken mixture and fry for 10 - 13 minutes.
  6. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and white pepper powder, tomato, cashew and almond paste.
  7. Mix well and cook for 7 - 10 minutes.
  8. Add coconut milk, mix well, and bring it to boil.
  9. Cover and cook on a low flame for 10 mins.
  10. Pour over the cream and stir in well.
  11. :- If you want, you can add orange colour here.
  12. :- This is the stage u can find the thickened gravy.
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  14. :- Serve hot with rice, roti, Chapathi, or as u like ...
