Instructions
  1. Clean the cabbage and cut the cabbage into very thinly as possible.
  2. Finely chop green chillies and ginger.
  3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan.
  4. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and turmeric and saute for 30 seconds.
  5. Add chopped ginger, green chillies, sliced onions and saute for 1 minute.
  6. Add grated carrot, salt and finely cut cabbage and stir it well to mix with the seasoning.
  7. Cover the pan with a lid for 4 - 5 mins and cook on medium flame.
  8. Remove the lid and stir once again.
  9. Add grated coconut and cover cook for 2 more mins.
  10. Switch off the flame.
  11. Garnish with chopped coriander and leave the curry covered for 5 - 1 mins.
  12. :- Please follow the timings mentioned exactly as mentioned in this recipe. You will get a wonderfull taste. If overcooked or oversteamed the curry leaves rotten smell. :- Do cook it on medium flame or else the cabbage will be burnt and the flavour changes.
