Cabbage Chutney Chutney served with rice or tiffins 250 gm CabbageTamarind (A lemon sized one, Puli)3 nos Red chillies3 nos Green chillies1" piece Ginger (chopped)4 nos Garlic pods1 pinch Turmeric powder3 spoon CorianderAsafoetida(Kayam) Salt (As reqd)For seasoning:-1 spoon Mustard seeds1 spoon Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)10 nos Curry leaves Heat some oil in a pan.Add the cut cabbage pieces and fry for 3 mins.Add ginger, garlic, green and red chillies, mustard seeds and coriander and sprinkle asafoetida and fry for 5 mins.Sprinkle turmeric powder.Allow it to cool.Add tamarind juice and salt to it.
