The best healthy and fulfilled salad to start a day. This highly nutritious is prepared with lots of coclourful vegetables and chicken salami. Salami is a type of cured sausage consisting of fermented and air-dried meat. Its a lovely one to eat, not because its a healthy salad, but for the fact that the chicken salami and the veggies make it a wholesome comforting meal in itself.

  • Potato - 4 -
  • Carrots - 3 nos
  • Green peas - 1 cup
  • Baby Corn - 4 nos
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Salt(A pinch) -
  • Pepper(A pinch) -
  • Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
  • Chicken Salami(around 400 gm)(cut into small pieces) - 1 pack
  • Mayonnaise - 3 -
  • Thousand Island salad dressing - 3 tbsp
For garnishing:
  • Parsley(cut into small pieces) -
  • Eggs(hard boiled) - 2 nos

Instructions
  1. Dice the vegetables into small pieces of 1 cm width.
  2. Boil the potatoes in water along with a pinch of pepper, turmeric and salt for about 15 mins, till well cooked.
  3. Drain excess water.
  4. Boil carrots, green peas and baby corn in water along with a pinch of pepper, turmeric and salt for about 10 mins and drain the water.
  5. Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a pan or a kadai.
  6. Fry all the vegetables slightly for about 5 mins.
  7. :- This is optional - it just adds to the taste.
  8. Slightly shallow fry the salami pieces.
  9. Mix together the vegetables and salami along with Mayonnaise and Salad dressing and mix well.
  10. Garnish with parsley and cut hard boiled eggs(each egg into six long slices).
  11. Keep in fridge.
  12. :- Serve chilled.
